Tasks

This short article's purpose is to provide you with an overview of the subject. Details will be covered in each module in this KB.

Access to the online User Guide Article: TasksTASKS MODULE – WORK ORDER MODULE

We have the Tasks section, that is a Work Order module.

  1. From here you can manage your Work Orders.
  1. You can also check the live status of each Work Order.
  1. Here you can view your list of Activities,
  1. Where you can also add activities by selecting the Add button.
1. Live Data

After the task to be completed, you have the Live Data. The bottom portion (Grid) is to display individually the status of each Task. You can sort, filter, hide columns, etc. in this view.

You can Search for available tasks using the Search filter, and you have 3 modes in which to display the tasks, either with Map, Grid or Split views:

Selecting the Widgets will provide you with the statistics Task by priority, Tasks by Priority and the Global Progression of your tasks.

2. Manage

We offer another kind of route that uses Tasks, a work order Task route. Where you can select some tasks that have already been created within the Task’s module.

1. This is done easily by selecting some tasks in the Split map view area by using the Shift key and a left click of your mouse on the map and simply drag over the area of the tasks seen on the map. (Meaning you can select them directly in the map portion) and then click + Create Route in the Toolbar

2. You can also select the Tasks directly in the Grid view (the bottom portion) using the check boxes on the left of each task in the Grid you want to include in your Task Route and then click + Create Route in the Toolbar.

3. Next, you click on the + Create Route button.

4. The platform will generate the route automatically.

5. In the Address bar that appears in the right column, you can enter in and assign a starting location to your route (e.g. your garage) and the platform will add a starting point on the map. We can optimize the route to add the starting location, and all of the tasks will be reordered to optimize the route and be the most efficient as possible.

2.1. Running a Task Route with the TabletIn the Tablet you can select any of the Routes with Tasks from the list and we can see the and those task that are not yet completed (white) and the completed Tasks appear green, meaning they are (completed)

If you wish to view all of your tasks along your route you can click on the down arrow and you will get a view of all the tasks in the Route.

1. When the Operator is performing his route and when he approaches near a task to be completed, a popup box will appear on the tablet allowing them to open the next task.

2. If there no special form associated with a Task then the task will be automatically completed, and you will see a green circle with a checkmark on the tablet screen meaning the Task is completed and on the tablet map you will see a green indicator on the route indicating the task is completed. If there is a form, the form could look similar to the following Pothole task form.

3. If there is a form to complete when performing a task, you can view it by clicking on the button beside the task to open the Form associated with the task.
